ABOUT US
Sunday is a production house for feature films founded by producers Thomas Jeschner, René Frotscher and Volker Zobelt in Saxony-Anhalt 2011. Together with our filmmakers, we want to take a closer look at the current affairs and we want to get involved, especially making documentaries, socio-political and topical.
With Sunday, we bundle our experience from over 70 film projects, which we have accompanied in various productions in various positions, and realize the film projects that are close to our hearts. Our films are made with German and European partners and in cooperation with RBB, ZDF, 3SAT and MDR.
We like to tell stories from East Germany, but are also interested in any ideas and formats. Our doors are open to the next generation. Get in touch!
With our experience, we are happy to be at your disposal as a service production for your filming in Germany, especially production management, post-production and permit management.
In January 2024, our dear friend Thomas passed away. Above all, his drive to give the people from our homeland a voice remains our incentive.
We are looking for stories that burn on the nails and get under your skin!
