Sunday Filmproduktion is run by the producers René Frotscher, Thomas Jeschner and . The company produces fiction and none-fiction films for cinema and television release. Sunday was found in Halle (Saxony-Anhalt) in 2010.

THOMAS JESCHNER

Producer

Thomas Jeschner takes part in the development as well as the organisation of the projects. He studied germanic literature and history at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. For many years, he worked as an independent businessman in Halle, followed by the marketing and distributing of documataries in 2005 and the production of documentaries and feature films. Additionally, he works as an author for non-fiction books.

RENÉ FROTSCHER

Producer

René Frotscher works as prodcuer, primarily leading the development section of the company. He grew up in Zittau (Saxony), studied “Film Production” at the Acadamy of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg, as well as “Writing for Film and Television” at the Vancouver Filmschool. During his studies, he worked in the location department of many international feature film productions (Studio Babelsberg) and as a production manager and producer in Berlin based production companies. Being a producer of the feature film “Combat Girls”, he recieved the Bronze Lola for the Best Picture in 2012. The Price given by the German Film Acadamy is regarded to be the German Oscar.

Producer

works as producer and manages the office and the commercial part of the company. He grew up in Radebeul (Saxony) and studied law specialising on intellectuell property rights. After his study, he worked as a camera operator for foreign tv reports, wrote short films and worked in the location department at many international feature film productions (Studio Babelsberg).
